Rev3 Flywheel Thread Size

Featured Replies

Been a member for a while but lost log in details so had to reregister (age thing no doubt)

Anyway, after an 18 year lay off I have taken the plunge and bought a 2000 125 Rev3 to get back into trials. It is proving to be a bit of a bugger to say the least as it appears that early Rev3s are a bit of a bitsa.

My problem is that I need to remove the flywheel to change the main seals, however, the 30 x 1.5 puller I have doesn't fit!

It appears to be a smaller size and my question is does anyone know the correct size?

I have tried Lampkins and they can't remember! But did advise they are no longer available from Beta.

Thanks in advance

Pete

If that's the one off Facebook its a Beta Zero engine that's in it.

Yes it is! However, no one can tell me the thread size! I have established that it uses the earlier 125 engine from a Techno/Gara and ordered parts accordingly but am stuck with the above at the moment.

I have mic'd it up and it is 24 point something but knowing my luck I'd buy a 25mm puller and it would be a 24. I'm trying to get a definative answer to avoid ending up with a toolbox full of pullers!
