I'm going to start riding some NETA events, and I'm supposed to run a number plate with name/class/line/etc. on it. My beta has a front light/plate space, but it's pretty small. Is there somewhere I can get something? I'm not sure where/how people typically construct their front plates (sorry, I've only ever had to deal with numbers for NETRA events before).

I have done it all sorts of ways. Cut a plate to zip-tie to the forks out of plastic, apply 2" letters for class, NOV, SR, INT, etc, and a name is nice, I print one on 3/4 tape using my Brother labeler.

I think Adrian at Lewissport prints custom stickers and sells plates if you want something special.

I just printed mine in MS Word then laminated it and double side taped it over the aluminum plate on the bike.
