Rebuilding a TX250 (125cc)

two bolts on the underside of engine - is the centre one the sump plug and the other to hold kick-start spring ?

Pretty certain centre one is oil change bung. I think the one beneath kickstart shaft will have a spring and plunger in it which hold the selector drum in each gear position.

Middle one is the oil drain, outer one is the stop for the kickstart

when you remove the clutch cover leave the kickstart lever on and rotate it backwards as if you were starting the bike so its about footrest level

undo that outer bolt and slide the casing off complete with the kickstart shaft, this leaves the spring in place in the cover

just reverse this process when refitting the cover
