Just scanning a load of old photo's for storage and need to know what year this one is from please. It is Nigel Birkett (I think) mid 80's.

I would have a stab a 1984 as thats a 1983 bike at a guess, also his gloves look like 84 era.

Thanks 84 it is then, nice spot on the bike era and it's great how you can tell from those extra special gloves he's wearing I thought you may have come up with it because it was probably the last time it was sunny up there and not raining.

My Guess is 1986 I think I am stud behind in the red and white trousers and my red white and blue Yamaha jacket, and I was riding number 243 but I could be wrong on the year.

Ps I bet Nigel still uses those special gloves?

If we could see if the bike was a gas shock version, which came out late 85 early 86 then that would give us a better clue.
