April 5, 201511 yr Hi all just wondering just purchased a oset 16 36 v brilliant bit a kit for my boy he loves it but noticed the charger is flashing red and yellow is this normal and is there a fast charger I can buy or a battery upgrade for longer riding many thanks Dan
April 5, 201511 yr The std sla batteries are best charged on the std charger imo, should flash slow red at the beginning then quicker toward the end of charge then green when full. Lots of info on here about lipo upgrade but but I haven't gone down that road, yet :-) spare 10amp sla batteries are around £ 70 per set. We have 3 sets and if there's lots hills there all flat in about 1 - 2 hrs cuttin my lads ride short so we need to upgrade one way or another soon ;-)
April 10, 201511 yr I have just put a lithium battery in from a guy that has a company called boost bikes. It cost £320 delivered. Slots straight in, drops 8kg and lasts forever. It has made a real difference to the bike. I have his number.
