Hello Yrocmoto, Can you keep us updated regarding this battery upgrade please? I just bought a new 20.0 2020 and not happy with 20min riding time of my 9year old kid. Its mix between offroad and obstakels. Because of corona we cant ride with his KTM 65 for the time beeing ? On the other hand I would be interested in knowing someone who bought a HK solution. So recent shoppinglist would be great because most are bit older and for 24V or 36V. But I assume doing 2 x 24V pack in series would give me 48V pack? Thanks guys!

Yes I think it looks good but it wont go pretty fast and long. But a good (better compare to Oset 16") base for tuning ;-)

haha but he weights maybe 10Kg? :-) Did you measure the Amps with the stock Oset controller? @40V it should be average 20A and 30A at starts? What about temp of the motor? 50A is the max Amps you measure or rather average? Donno how the config works.... My kid weighs 21kg now. I'm considering buying the Kelly controller anyway for the little extra power and better throttle respons. But maybe straight for higher model for future projects. Hello, Anyone here has positive experience in recovering a LiPO batt with 1 defective cell? I read you have to charge it in NcCd function without the ballance connector. But I really have no tension at all in the dead cell. The dead cell is not swollen.... Shall I try or just recycle it.... Greets

Hmm can you repeat that in less technical language :-) So I would need the revolt motor, Kelly controller, throttle, wiring. Then transmission: reduction necessary or does it depend on the front and rear sprocket? If this is affordable I'll look for making my own electric MX. Suspension of the Oset 16" is really crap compared to the KTM's , even PW50's... PS: the throttle of our 16" is dead. Its 2011 model. Will any ebay throttle do? Owkay special :-) Buying an Oset 16 was to easy? What did you modify to have more power? I think this will be awesome bike to use on enduro, trial and mx. I give the boy get used to the bike before I add more power. But power increase is coming too with more lipos added. Keep in mind this bike has allready twice to power of Oset 16. Did you change something to get rid of the on/off. Mine has it really hard and is irritating when I make him do low speed exercises... Greetings

Hello redline, It seems you are also looking for a more MX use. The suspension of the OSET is indeed way to insufficient. It will always be a bicycle with an electro motor. Have you see the Kuberg special edition? Its on the Kuberg FB page. They will present it end of the year, but they say its 65cc material (14KW) so to powerfull for my 5year old kid :-) All we need is a good decent rolling frame and fit in battery, motor, controller and throttle. Can't be that hard can it? I know a someone who owns a karting, who rents mini supermotards. Hey Original, Thanks for the follow up! I'm gonna order an upgrade kit from Oset UK to be sure. I'm nogw encountering another problem. The sprocket on the motor keeps getting loose. so the sprocket moves just a little on the axle. Anyone got the same issue? The locking mechanism by only screwing always seemed to me to be insufficient... With the stock chainset I never got this problem... Greetings

Hi, first off al check the tension of the chain and how far the bolts on the tensioner on the rear axle are. the further to the back, the longer the chain is and therefor used. I also informed regarding the upgrade kit and this was the answer of Oset: It should be fine. Please make sure that your motor shaft is a ‘D-shaft’ 12mm. If so, the kit will work. The whole kit does not have a part number, but is £64.99, and is called the ‘Heavy Duty Chain Upgrade Kit’. It’s on the site under ‘chains’. I ordered the kit separately in Belgium, but still not convinced its the right kit. so be sure to order correctly. @gwhy Can you tell me more about the rear sprocket adaptor? Because the quality of the chainwheels is bad. It is difficult to set the chain tension because of the oval chainwheel and I need to check it after each (MX) ride. Maybe I can buy better chainwheels then... Big thanks

Hello guys, I bought a new "upgrade" chain kit for my 2011 oset 16". So bigger chain. The shop confirms me its OK but I doubt that there is to much play between chain and chainring. Hello, For those, like me, who uses the OSET 16" for full cross rather then trial... You can buy 16" cross tires from the Kuberg e cross 16". They fit perfectly. Greetings
