Featured Replies

i rode in the white rose years ago, whats it like now.can you get food at the start, how many laps, how hard on the clubman route.i am riding so any pre-event info would be more than welcome.

Where does it take place? Anyone got any directions from leeds?

I have only seen a trial event taking place at sheffield arena a few years ago. I would like to go spectate at this White rose event

Thanks

Ryan

This post is probably a bit late, as no doubt any riders having to travel to the White Rose will be getting ready to set off.

It is a hard one lap course. Clubman ride about 36 sections, missing out the last two. Unfortunatly I cannot ride this year but have ridden it for the previous 3. Only finishing out of the 7 1/2 hour time limit (by 10 mins and a ran out of fuel) on the first attempt.

Depending on how good a rider you are and how fit you are will determine how hard it is. For me its a good 7 hours + hard riding. Buts is a great trial.

As regards getting there the start is flagged from Bainbridge. I don't know much about spectating as I've only ridden. Someone there will always point you in the right direction.

Hope this posting is of some use.

Good luck!
