you cannot keep the origanal clamps with 7/8th bars due to the size change,i fitted renthal 7/8th clamps.i find the bike easier to ride for my style [over 40!] with the switch in the raining position.

if you are into good road trials this is one not to be missed.last year it was superb with a good quality entry.

if it is a new machine why not take it back to the dealer you purchased it from??,surley he will sort it for you.
