July 17, 201511 yr Hello Honda experts, I have a cracked kickstart I my 1988 RTL twin disc, does anybody know if a kick start from another machine will fit? Eg XL or XR . I know that it is different to a tlr and the 85 to 87 RTLs. Thanks
July 17, 201511 yr As far as I know, there's nothing else that will fit. Your only option is to get it fixed.
July 17, 201511 yr I know of a person, who has made a replacement, but unfortunately, it was a one-off, so as JJ65 says, most likely you'll have to get it repaired. Shame there's not an after market replacement, out there?
July 17, 201511 yr Is it the boss or the lever that is cracked? A tlm260 has the same boss but an alloy lever.I have successfully repaired the one on an 87 rtl which is the same as 88 and 89 bikes John
