As far as I know you can only work lights if the bike is fitted with twin coils inside the flywheel,most Japanese imports don't have these.the wiring diagram in the manual will show you if you know someone that has one or there was one on one of the honda trials pages

Is it the boss or the lever that is cracked? A tlm260 has the same boss but an alloy lever.I have successfully repaired the one on an 87 rtl which is the same as 88 and 89 bikes John

Have you tried putting some silicone round the edge?this is what I do,seems to work

Hi bash plate The crf 150 definitely has the same shaft size as the yamaha's and the Hondas you've mentioned.i have alloy levers for the crf150 fitted to both rtl250 and TLM 260 Hondas Johnyboy

Could it possibly be the two mounting bolts on the carb manifold have been tightened too much?had similar problem with RTL honda

Have experienced the exact same problem on an Rtl250,same solution slacken carb nuts

Hi,if you have a tlm250-they were only made in 1988 and1989,from 1990-93 they became the tlm260.i have a manual though not for sale but i can scan the odd page for you

you could try ellastone off road(01889 590186)the y recently brought 70 bultacos plus lots of spares in from the states

I HAVE HEARD THIS TOO,I WAS TOLD BETWEEN 60 AND 70 BIKES-A MIXTURE OF TRIALS AND MOTOCROSSERS-SOME VERY NEARLY NEW CONDITION.I THINK IT IS ELLASTONE OFF ROAD THAT`S BOUGHT THEM

has the nipple broken off flush with the caliper?if it is sticking out a little your best bet is to mig weld say an m8 nut over it and screw it out when it is still hot.bleed nipples are available from DAF TRUCKS in M8 thread,again you would need to machine it to fit the tapered seat in your caliper,good luck
