Rtl 250 1986 Wiring For Lights

Hi can anyone help.

I have have Front headlight & rear light Fitted to my RTL.

Can i use the Existing  Wiring from the Engine to power the Lights.

If so what Colours are they. 

Any Help with this would be much Appreciated.

Sorry, can't help with the lights, but just a bit of info, I think that's a 87.

As far as I know you can only work lights if the bike is fitted with twin coils inside the flywheel,most Japanese imports don't have these.the wiring diagram in the manual will show you if you know someone that has one or there was one on one of the honda trials pages

As johnboy has said, apparently you need 2 coils, if your bike is one of the many brought in from Japan, it won't have the 2 coils, if it's a European one, it should have both.

Here's another pic for you. Obviously mine is a jap import, so it's only got one coil.

Hi, this is not a problem to solve, you just add a coil and a voltage regulation (gasgas for my bike)
