Evening all,

 

Can anyone tell me the correct procedure or slot on the shaft for refitting the pawl gear(s) back so the tension is correct for the Kickstart to return correctly to the stop and not damage the case? Struggling a bit as far as the slot in the shaft for the kickstart bolt is not in the correct position at present after replacing the gears..bit stumped!

Any help would be appreciated!  

I`ve done a complete rebuild. The kick starter was the hardest part. The only thing I can remember was the kicker had to be about three o`clock for it to finally hit the sweet spot to go together.

Thanks Lineaway, fiddly as owt int it, had a few indicative pictures off a few people, but its hit and miss, understand the tension bit, but holding shaft in situ and getting slot to line up for kickstart bolt is a hard one, will persevere, thanks pal
