Hi all could anybody answer me this question . I have a 2001 sheeco 250 the engine is bang on and everything else on it is fine apart from a crack in the frame ! I have purchased a frame for a 2005 model will everything swap over or is it a nono ??any help would be appreciated

I think everything should swap over ok. I know 2002 to 2005 were all the same frame, but having never had an 01 i cant say for certain.

The 01 was a different frame to the first 2 years, I seem to remember that the frame changed again in 02 so the tank & guard may not fit. The exhaust fits as I changed mine to the later type when it started getting louder & had a few dents, not sure if the airbox changes or not

Probably best to change over the tank, airbox, muffler & rear guard to see if they match up before going any further. Engine etc should be a straight swap as the cases stayed the same for a long time

Have you been able to find a manual for your 2001? I just got one but am not sure what type of oil to use for the transmission? And how much oil?
