November 18, 201510 yr Hi I'm about to buy my 1st ever trials bike (sherco 290. 02 I think) will be picking it up with my works Transit, its a crew cab type but without the rear seats. And I'm wondering if it would fit in there rather than on the back, making it more secure and away from prying eyes. looking forward to riding up at poleswood soon sean
November 19, 201510 yr Shouldn't be any problem, I use a long wheelbase high roof connect and can fit 2 adult bikes and an oset in with one of the back seats still in place. I know someone with a short wheelbase who carries a bike, but it might have to go diagonally
November 19, 201510 yr Sorrym just read yours again, thought you had a transit connect, full size transit has tons of room
November 19, 201510 yr Author Ah I forgot to say its a drop side transit with crewcab hence putting bike inside instead on the back if you see what I mean
November 20, 201510 yr do it after dak with a sheet over no one will know. The gypsies do it all the time.
April 22, 201610 yr Author Update, you can fit a trials bike in the back of a transit crewcab truck, just not with the rear seat fitted lol, keeps it out of prying eyes
