I was checking the carb settings on my bike and the air screw is set at 3 turns out, can anyone confirm this is standard?

I think that the normal adjustment is of 1.5 turns, +/- 1 half turn.

my 2000 with 145main and 27.5 pilot jet and n7yc plug

seems to like it between 2.5 and 3 turns out.

I do have the idle set slightly high

if someone knows more chime in

The only answer to "How many turns?" is "As many as it takes."

Two turns with "V" groove on front of slide.

Reduced shroud on needle jet?
