Does anyone know the best way to make the clutch on my 02 290 a bit lighter to pull in?

I find Sherco clutches to be super easy to pull, but you could try removing springs.

Start with 2, and remove ones that are right across from each other.

You can't really back off the tension on the bolts. They are either tight or loose and fall out which could cause a lot of damage. If you have a heavy clutch try moving the lever along the bar so your finger operates nearer the end of the lever.

Has it got short levers rather than long ones. They don't give as much leverage.
