Featured Replies

Does any body have a pic of a WES pipe for the beta rev3

as someone has put car body filler in mine because there was a hole in the back where the tire has rubbed.

i have also thought until i buy a new pipe i could cut the orignial down.

has anyone thought of this i have seen a fmf pipe for the rev 3 on a google pic and they are alot shorter than the stock so why cant you cut the stock down?

Many tahnks

As far as I know the complete exhaust lenth has the following effects, the longer the overall leanth the higher peak power, shorter overall lenth the more botton/mid power.

Not sure how much you need to cut down but I once cut about 1" off the end of a carbon can that had split and didnt feel any difference.

Can you get a patch welded over the hole and make sure that the tyre misses when the back box is reffitted, there should be enough clearance to miss the patch. Ask around locally someone will know an alloy welder.

On my bike I stick a decal (carbon fibre look sheeting) over that area it acts as an early warning device.
