bultaco1
Does anyone know a rod or rod bearing from another bike might fit? Even pin and bearing only? Used to put Yamaha bearings in KTMs when in a pinch.
bultaco1
I restored this one from pretty bad shape. Went through the gears the first time, came back and told my friend that it had a Matador tranny. Nice huh? Who would have thought to count up the gear teeth. Dogs looked great. Splitting cases tonight. I think the rod is just a fuzz loose. Could use some help from someone who has retro fitted something.
feetupfun
Bultaco big ends on 250 motors can be refurbished by using a new pin, honing the hole and fitting slightly bigger diameter (imperial sizing) rollers (Harley Davidson part). I don't know if the M92 (325) big end bearing uses the same size rollers though. I would have thought new rods kits are available for M92
sherpa325
Haven't bought a rod kit recently, but in the past have never had trouble getting them.
gasserguy
Have you spoken to Dave at Bultaco UK ? They have many more parts than listed on the web site! https://www.inmotiontrials.com/product-category/parts/twinshock/bultaco/ Edited March 1, 2017 by gasserguy
