Replacement Spark Plug Cap

Featured Replies

No continuity from front to back of my plug cap.

Anything special about the MTA cap.

2009 Sherco 290ST

Am not getting spark and have tried a known good stator. I do see spark when I place the HT lead without cap near ground and push on the kick starter.

What would be a suitable replacement cap here in the USA??? Thanks

Thanks All - Discovered a few things

Auto parts stores in my area do not carry the appropriate part.

Found a great replacement at my favorite Yamaha dealer.

The cap was not my problem - my testing procedure was at fault.

Now to change the coil as it is the last part in my NO SPARK issue.

Borrowing a known good one from a friend - Already swapped the stator and disconnected the kill switch.

Again - Thanks for the help
