December 11, 200520 yr not sure whats wrong with my bike its a montesa 314r and i was driving along today in 5th gear to where i normally do my trials and all of a sudden it slammed on it 5th and skidded to a stop and it cut out and the kick start wouldnt move it was like as if it was jammed any one help???
December 12, 200520 yr There are circlips on the transmission shafts that keep the gears separated from each other. The circlips occasionally break and let two gears engage at once. This may be the problem.
