Oil Level 2004 Sherco

Featured Replies

Hi All, just purchased a 2004 sherco trails, just going over levels etc and can't find a sight glass or level screw for oil, can anyone help?  Also looking for how much water the cooling system takes and where the fill level is.

Thanks in advance.

Theres no fill level.

When you change oil (around 450cc) it should keep at same level if there no leaks.

Cooling system takes around 500cc.

Dont you mean TRIALS you could be upsetting people?

When you drain the oil leave the bike to drain overnight to get most of it out. Try to get the bike in the best position to allow complete draining. Overfill the transmission snd oil will lesk out of the output shaft seal, breather and anywhere else so be carefull on quantities. Make sure you use the correct type of oil dont throw in the first available lube.
