Could anyone tell me what fits into the recess on the front exhaust pipe, looks to be some form of o ring.

Where can I source one please and what material would it need to be in that hot location.

Many thanks all ??

You can measure the ID and OD of where it fits and buy a gasket from an exhaust shop or off the internet. There a few different types and which one works best depends on the geometry of the joint and how much movement it is going to get in service. Google "exhaust gasket" and you'll see what's available.

This is an O-ring 44x4mm in FKM (Viton®). Or you can fit a length of stove fire rope glued with high-temp engine silicone (Loctite 5920, for example), let it dry, and fit the exhaust, like i did.
