I think the trial was the National Southern. This would have been run by the Tenterden club, from memory I would have been riding a Beamish Suzuki in it.

Or was it the Man of Kent trial run as a national ?

I believe it was the man of kent trial, i'll try and post some 1979/80 pics, mainly of Lamkin/Rathnal. The Oast House on the road work pic of Lamkin/Rathnal should give the location. Heath would know perhaps?????

Great pics, I think that was the year before my pic's (no bibs) I recon yours were taken the same year Scrieber was riding which I think was 1980, must have more of a rummage for my pics of that one.

Excellent pics of my fave era of trials. Does any one here have any pics of the wye valley traders from the same era? I am working on trying to get this trial back on the calender as a twinshock national. Cheers
