austini Posted January 30, 2006 Report Share Posted January 30, 2006 I've still got a 99, great bike. Watch out for cracking at the top of the down tubes (level with the top of the radiator). What is the best way to check the linkage? In you own opinions; is this bike better than a Beta Techno of the same year? Also i have attached the dealers picture, dont know if any of you experts can tell me anything from it. To me it looks very clean and tidy with the normal trials scraps and scratches. sherpa Posted January 30, 2006 Report Share Posted January 30, 2006 can't tell much from the pic, chances are if it looks good, who ever had it took some care of it. For the linkage, lift the rear end by the muffler and feel for play. If there is none your doing good, if there is alot (you feel it clunk)you can count on replacing the bearings.
