I've doe this on my 03, probably similar, one wire needs connecting to the black wire which comes up from the stator, the other end needs earthing on the top bolt on the coil. that is for one which earths the sprak plug, one which disconnects the spark pllug completely, ie lanyard is different.

erm, well I'm not sure about that, someody had already rewired most of my bike when i got it and just hadn't fitted a kill switch, but black wire is definately the one to earth to stop the engine.

If you've got a handbook then there should be a wiring diagram in there.

Dear Currently Lost ???

Ok the beta has simplest wiring on the Planet..

If you remove all wires up through Cover on tank.. At the point you pull the plugs apart (3) two yellow... One male one female .. plug them together .. the third wire is a kill switch wire Black .. sometimes has a white stripe..

DO NOT CUT ANY WIRES..

This is a no brainer...
