Hi I've just bought a beta evo 250 2t 2009 it starts and rides great but the engine has a fairly load ticking sound to it I  know two strokes can be noisy  but just wondering if anyone else has experienced this?

    Possibly piston slap. Mine does it. Rather offensive on the ears but everyone I’ve asked about it just says “I’ve heard worse.” I’m learning to live with it.
