February 8, 200422 yr Q, ISHY: Looking at your own words, do you think buying a 01 bike with a main rattle, and other problems is a fair assesment, of Sherco? who knows what the bike may have been through before you got it. I bought the bike from my local dealer and is in very good condition (apart from the mains noise) he told me that it had been owned by an older gent whos also did some pre 65 riding (so that rules out the expert thrasher) he had the bike from new and because of his pre 65 riding and the advent of F&M here in the UK my dealer friend reckoned that the bike had only had about 9 months use even though it was an '01'. As for price, I paid
February 8, 200422 yr Marky, I have been around long enough to know, regardless of make the majority of riders are happy with their brand of bike, from time to time you get some people will make statements like the Sherco has a bad airbox design or a design flaw caused by heat making the mains go out. Most know these statements are incorrect, but some don't! like Rever, who rides a Beta posts on the Montesa forum " I see the Sherco has a bad airbox design" this doesn't help the other brands gain more sales as the similar false statements gets said about all bikes.
