Incorrect descriptions in the owner's manual for 2006 Gas Gas TXT Pro

Featured Replies

There are incorrect descriptions both in the paper manual that came with the bike when new and also the PDF owner's manual for 2006 Gas Gas TXT Pro.

I noticed this the first time i had a look at the manual. There might be more wrong stuff in the manual for what i know.

Is it typical for Gas Gas to have incorrect info in the owners manual?

Does other years of Gas Gas TXT have incorrect info as well?

Have a look at the 3 pictures posted below.

The pictures below is of page 20, 22 and 29 in the manual.

There are other mistakes, it seems like they just cut and pasted info from the TXT manual to Pro manual.

Fuel mix says 2% (50:1) the TXT crank bearings were lubricated by the fuel mix but Pro crank bearings are lubricated by the gear oil so you don't need as much in the fuel. Many people on here run between 65:1 or 75:1.
