March 28, 20251 yr My tank leaks very slowly at the bottom, wondering where I can find a suitable replacement, it isn't listed separately in the parts manual. I see the newer cotas use two o-rings but I don't think I'm that lucky.
March 28, 20251 yr They are available and listed separately. 17574-NN4-000 Around £25 from Honda. St Blazey MX will sort you out with one.
May 12, 20251 yr Author Gasket was fine, but found rust in the fuel bottom assembly to the point where it was porous. Cleaned it up and lined it with kbs coat I had lying around (my first choice is caswell epoxy tank liner) fuel pump might be on it's way out now

The bottom hat that holds the fuel pump, allows the wiring and pressurized fuel to pass through is a mixture of coated steel and some brazed or welded parts. The steel had become rusted and porous so it needed to be replaced or coated and lined. Not the first Honda fuel component I've come across that needed to be lined. Overland Trail mentioned that honda is discontinuing the gasket/packing going forward Edited July 19, 20251 yr by drfrisker
