i have been rebuilding a 301 and nearly ready to start it up. can anyone tell me what kind of gearbox oil i should use and how much i should put in?

    Good luck finding the Castrol Hypoy 80W80 that Fantic recommends (recommended?), but readers of this forum seem to agree that automatic transmission fluid works well - just change it more often. Someone else probably has a favourite, and it also depends on what your local Fantic dealer carries!

    Post a photo when you are done for all to enjoy - have a 301 brochure here somewhere if you need one.
