  1. Cheers for that mate. I was beginning to wonder by lack of interest on here
  2. Anyone else see this just before 7 on Friday night. Was a good few minutes long and had interviews with Lampkin and one of the organisers. Also mentioned that Trials is the cheapest form of motorsport and described what its all about. Well done BBC 1 Scotland.
  3. Some great photos. Love the Cota Yeti

    Year Model ?

Probably. They've moved to Duns now though. http://www.borderbikes.com/index.php
  5. Thanks Stork. Like others, you sound pretty sure about this and i am trying to avoid 'pulling things apart' if i can. Would anyone advise against using ATF in an old 2 stroke (like the owner of the Yamaha shop round the corner from me)? Just want to be sure.
  6. I went to the Yamaha dealer as he's just round the corner from me and did have ATF for sale. He could have made a sale out of me but opted to advise me against using ATF in a 33yr old 2 stroke bike. ATF sounds pretty safe according to many on here, but I'm going to take his advice and try and fix the sticky clutch another way.
  7. Went to the Yamaha dealer to get some atf oil. He advised me that although it may stop the clutch from sticking, in the longer term it wouldn't protect the bearings and would eventually cause bigger problems...So was a bad idea. Is this true? Said i would be better just pulling the clutch plates apart and cleaning them..
  8. Hello Ian and welcome. We all love Trials pictures mate, so don't be shy in posting some

    Ty175 Majesty

Aye, seen that earlier and thought there was something pretty standard about it. Could be wrong though.
  11. Have you tried Bill Pye? http://www.frankfieldfantic.co.uk/
  12. The engine number looks like a botched job from a 15 yr old in metalwork class. But...How much was it worth John? In your opinoin.
  13. But what if you've no got a garage?
  14. Nice work Parky. Always good to see the old bikes restored and looked after.
  15. Ecosse motorcross up at Penicuik sell bike racks - or at least they used to. Give him a phone. http://www.ecossemx.com/

    Ty 250 Seat

Doesn't suprise me to be honest. I often go on a mission to buy a speedo and even the old knackered ones are going for 30 pounds +. A lot of people out there are looking for a good seat to finish the project - and parts in that condition are getting rarer.
  17. The old pit/ railway used by locals in my area is usually pretty cool with the police etc giving us 'unoffical' permission. But when the 'travelling people' visit we stay away. There have been a good few attacks and thefts in the past when they are about

    My 200

Nice work Russell. An expensive one by the looks of it - but worth every penny when you see it like that.
