May 23, 200620 yr Author Day 1 at section 11 , Fajardo was staged when Blazusiak let out a yelp . One of the locals came to the rescue climbing up the boulder at the entrance poking around in the crevice with a 6 inch stick . He made the grab and started pulling out a 5 foot snake ( it might have been 4 foot before he started , the snake didn't want to come out ! ) He then jumped off the rock with the snake hanging by it's tail ( snake wasn't too happy at this point ) The look on Blazusiak's face was priceless . Fajardo was shaking his head and muttering something about " Americans " ! He then dropped it into gear and proceeded to clean the section . " Shoot , it wuz jesta Rat Snake , I wuz hopin' it wuz a big ol' Copper " ! He must of been from Alabama .
May 23, 200620 yr That photo backs up my suspicions about observers: If you look closely at the picture you can see: 1)That he has gone to great lengths to disguise his horns with a cap. 2)His cloven hooves are covered with a pair of trainers. 3)His pitchfork is obviously out of shot (being heated in a camp fire). 4)You can clearly see his tail which confirms my theory. You have been warned!
May 23, 200620 yr The snake looks kinda dead so perhaps he ate it mmmmmm snake. And then couldnt find a toilet so dropped it on the rock behind, Wonder what he wiped with??
May 24, 200620 yr Snake in the section to distract the observer, and I still got a 5.Frank <{POST_SNAPBACK}> If I remember right Frank it was because everything got deathly quiet with both your feet on the top of the rock. Jake proved to be entertainment,,,, and even garnered a bit of attention from the Williams sisters which you know makes me smile...... One poor rider though (I think it was Mr. Fox) went to set his tool bag down on top of Jake's head though before he saw him...... does not begin to describe it!
