Beta Quirks

Featured Replies

Hello Beta fans.

I was just wondering if the 2005 or 2006 Betas have any quirks or things that commonly break on them or need attention from the get go or after some time is put on them?

Any comments are welcomed!

Thanks!

Check regularly the rear bash plate bolts. If they work themselves loose, they pull the thread out with themselves.(the bash plate is under alot of pressure...so they ping out)...IF they work loose..they might if you're bashing into rocks alot etc.

Silent block (rubber mounting thingy) that holds the middle exhaust tends to break alot..specially on early Betas, where they dont have the extra support at the front of middle exhaust.

I allways rode without flywheel weight both in UK and abroad, and MUCH prefer it...guess its just a personal thing.
