Ridden my 05 since new every week, in fact I don't think there are many in the world ridden one more, rode a Mont 4rt in the SSDT, rode the Scorpa 125 for a good six month, could afford to own any other 4 or 2 stroke if a so wished, but after riding the other's that are on offer I'll stick with my 3.2 thank you.

In answer to the topic starters question, the bike starts very easy with the kit provided by Sherco.
Only three things you need to know in the SSDT.
Left, Right, and send it on.

Ish:

There are two 05's here on the rock that have barely a few months riding on them and are going for cheap. I believe you could get them for about $5500 Cdn. I also know there are a couple still in the box around too!

Longer Kickstart lever, different camshaft and compression release, upgraded electrics and a hot start lever connected to the carb.

I have to say I tried a Sherco 4t and it really seemed to suit me, it rode really well.
I didn't get on with the Montesa at all, however I was 'scared off' by the tales of poor starting and must admit I couldn't re-start the one I tried, once it stalled.
