I have a 2007 Sherco and they come with a 10 tooth front sprocket. I like
to run a 9 tooth front sprocket but find my chain/axel adjusters are in
the 8 1/2 position out of 9. Standard Sherco 520 chain is 100 links (not
including the master link). Removing two links from the 100 link would
make it too short (98)...as this is the minimum links you can remove at a
time. I have not been able to find 1/2 links nor a 99 link chain. Any
suggestions or advice would be appreciated.

Call your local motorcycle shop. Ask if they are a tucker rocky dealer. Try part # 19-5203. retail is $2.99.

Our local dealer has 1/2 links (a single roller) I'm sure you will be able to find one in the US if you try the better trials shops.

Sam I agree with ScottT go up a tooth in the rear. Its not as dramatic of a slow down as going down in the rear and you can probably bring your snail adjusters back to minimum. I might have some old sprockets to try that out on. Not for permanent but just as a test to see if you like it. I would not keep a worn sprocket on the bike... you get the point. Let me check and i can mail it out to you if you want.
Is the 07 a 4 or 6 bolt attachment. I think its 6 but i cant remember.
