Kinnerston's farm (Nant Ucha Garth) is the place you are thinking of, at Trevor before Llangollen. There is a stream running all the way up it with banks either side and some big rocks. They do <mention of this company is not permitted on Trials Central> at the farm too. Really good place! £3 per bike.

Theres Wern Ddu nr. Corwen. It's ok. A bit knackered now though. As KevC said, it's gone up to a tenner for the day.

Apparently theres Whitemoor Farm nr. Congleton? Not 100% on that though!

Frodsham Club run Practice days every so often at Alvanley.

If you can get down theres hell of a place called Paddock Bends nr. Betws y coed. Theres a camp site just down from it if you want to make a weekend of it. You need to call the farmer before you go as they have livestock there.

Whitemoor farm is availible for practise a £5 a head its betweem Congleton and Biddulph goggle map link below. Not very detailed but I think the road you want is the dead end just the congleton side of Gillow heath. A right turn if your coming from Congleton.
