I have rebuilt the bike and she fired up 2nd kick but The clutch will not disengage. I have tried putting it into a high gear and rocking and have even ridden it round holding the rear brake but with no success. I have taken the clutch case off and everything seems to be in place. When I pull the lever in there is a fair bit of resistance as though the clutch springs are being compressed.

Any ideas will be gratefully received.

Cheers

John

remove clutch plates clean steel plates by taking shine and marks off them with emery paper and leave clutch friction plates in oil overnight then bang it all back together with fresh oil & it should be right!
