I have a 2004 250cc pro and all of the exhaust silencer mounts have snapped off the mid box, is there a way of repairing it or does it have to be a replacement?

Cheers

You will need to remove the whole unit and find someone who can ally weld, it can be done.
Good Luck

Is it possible to weld the complete silencer to the mid box, instead of using the mounts?

Cheers

I've just just had my 05 TXT 250 Pro repaired took it to my welder decided to fabricate new bracket and cut the old one of as you couldn't weld on to a weld if you see what I mean, and the metal goes brittle after a re-weld. Its a fault with the design in my opinion always having to have it welded on the different stress points. I have 07 125 and the box is different to my 05 the middle box its all one piece. So either weld it yourself or someone that can weld alloy!

Could my silencer be welded to the mid box to make it all one piece instead of making new brackets?

Cheers

it could be done but its not the best idea.

you silencer will have rubber orings in the joint between silencer and mid box. If you weld it on you wont ever be able to change them again.
