Interesting lineup for 2012. Dovizioso from Honda to Yamaha, and there appears to be a BMW and Aprilia in the lineup.

1. Casey Stoner - Repsol Honda
2. Dani Pedrosa - Repsol Honda
3. Jorge Lorenzo - Factory Yamaha
4. Ben Spies - Factory Yamaha
5. Valentino Rossi - Ducati Marlboro
6. Nicky Hayden - Ducati Marlboro
7. Cal Crutchlow - Tech 3 Yamaha
8. Andrea Dovizioso - Tech 3 Yamaha
9. Colin Edwards - Forward Racing (Suter-BMW CRT)
10. Hector Barbera - Pramac Ducati
11. Karel Abraham - Cardion AB Ducati
12. Alvaro Bautista - San Carlo Honda Gresini
13. Anthony West - Speed Master (?-Aprilia CRT)
14. ? - Gresini Racing (FTR-Honda CRT)
Gonads are useful for their intended purpose,
but they are no substitute for brains!

Looks like a pretty slim grid if thats a complete list, gone are the days of a decent sized field & I don't hold much hope of any improvement when the prototypes are phased out as has been talked about for the future

Not an official entry from BMW or Aprilia, they're claiming rule bikes which are basically superbikes with aftermarket frames & lap times around 3-5seconds a lap slower going on the tests earlier in the year

Because they have to try & save the class somehow now that the price of running 4 strokes has proven to be too high for most teams. Don't think it'll work though

LQQKING forward to another great season. Especially with the introduction of an all 4 stroke line up. MotoGP.com has given us the best video coverage, ever.
