Clutch Reassembly

I've just reassembled my clutch as it was before I taken it off, what I noticed is that the last plate is seated 1 notch over, so I.e not inline with the others. Is this correct? Also I have reassembled it dry and filled back up with oil, am I at risk of damaging the clutch on first use? Thanks in advance.

Outside plate being twisted around from the others is normal, if you've let the clutch sit for a bit when you added the oil there shouldn't be a problem especially if you turn the motor over occasionally

The 2000 2.9 I had, the last plate was installed one notch over.  When I started having issues with the clutch slipping I installed the last plate in line with the rest of them and then the slipping went away.

I believe the offset is done to warn the owner when the clutch plates are worn and need replacement.............I am super cheap so I opten to get a little more life out of them.
