Took my boy to the Golden Arches tonight for an Unhappy Meal, he had his kids cheeseburger and I decided on that delight that is the Big Mac. Now I might sound stupid but the burgers are now the same size, back in the day of getting a Big Mac in Slough High St, on the way to/from Windsor Comp Shop / Sid Morams the Big Mac was Big. What has happend to: Two all Beef Patees, Special Sauce, Lettuce, Cheese, Pickle and Onion all in a Sesame Seed Bun in the last 20 years?

Well, I want to inquire again with the local geeks if they are running it? Seems the SP1 is out and all. And the ones selling it say everything is ok? With few exceptions, everything has it anyway, but I understand some manufacturers are offering retro disks for XP? Long story short, I gotta buy a lappie for the daughter. Hell, I don't even have a lappie! I have this old P4 1.4G, 256meg in the shed!

For peeps using Internet Explorer or Firefox Browsers, Google do a Tool bar which has many useful features of which one of them is a spell check. When you have typed your post, you can click the spell check button on your tool bar and it identifies all the dodgy spelling. With a right click on the mouse whilst hovering over the mis-spelt word, you can select the correct word and it replaces it.. Or you can just click the Green Tick and it will highlight spelling mistakes as you type. It works pretty good and now there is NO excuse to post poorly spelt post's ( the grammar may still be a bit dodgy though ! ) Internet Explorer version here -> Google Tool bar for In…

I have a Cotton 250cc Trials bike 1966 and the engine is currently undergoing a rebuild. It was a long time ago the Villiers 250cc 37A engine came out, but I remember there was a definite problem with removing the rear engine fixing bolt. So when it comes to re-installing, what is going to be the best way to get the engine in and feed the 65mm rear securing bolt into place without taking off an outer casing? Can it be done? Is there a special method, such as a hole in the casing to feed the bolt through or has the right hand cover got to come off before putting the engine back in place? Can anyone advise on best course of action as I would rather get engine back …

Norton starts to give dire warnings it's about to explode because my subscribtion is about to expire so, whith some reluctance and against my better judgement, I update Norton via the web. On completion I reboot as per instructions. Outlook goes south and I can't fire activate Norton. So I phone the helpdesk, some pratt in India asks for my NAME and he can barely speak english. To add salt to the wound he's useless. This isn't my first run in with Norton. I should have learned the first time. The whole things leagalised extortion!

Now if only I could publish those photos I have of a stripped-down 4-RT factory bike gearbox (Fuji's) that I took in Japan... (Nobody's actually said I can't, but as I know it would cause a lot of hassle if I did they will remain offline and part of my private collection - along with most of the photos of the Japanese dancing girls ) well at least tell us whats in the pictures if your not going to show them, oh yeah and if you must you can tell us about the gearbox too. gearbox..schmeerbox. now about these dancing girls.... From the Beta Forum Andy keeps going on about these Japanese Dancing Girls so the poll question is this...Should Andy Divulge more of hi…

We all love to hate them, but just out of interest, has anybody ever heard of them doing something usefull, like catching a car thief / vandal / bag snatcher. They're always there when you dont want them to be, so chances are, they must see alsorts of things !

I`ve got a Micromark basic wired alarm kit and the idea was to set it up in the garage for the bikes. Its got 2 PIR sensors and 2 door sensors in the kit and looks quite easy to set up. I take it that Micromark are not the top end of alarm systems, and most probably nearer the bottom end . So the question is....Do I put the alarm box on the outside wall for everyone to see, or do I put it in the garage, where it will make a loud enough noise to frighten off any thief. The reason I ask is that I did hear that potential thieves can see what alarm system they are up against if its on the outside of wall, and if its just a basic model (like mine) it will be easier to get past…

I have recently discovered the Youtube site and I find after a while trawling around I lose the sound. Is this the norm, are we only allowed a certain amount. The only way I seem to get it back is to log off the web and log back on. Also I heard that Youtube was recently sold for a large amount, but I cant understand how they make money. Thanks in advance.
