So,late yesterday I make a run out to the airport to go fly a while. Took off just before dusk and spent some time then performed my night landings for currency. Got back, walked into the hangar and noticed something odd out the corner of my eye next to me! Lad is looking for lunch! And up on my roolaround toolbox! Would not leave, had to poke him with a stick! Over 4 ft long!

Last November, (This a bit of a rant, so I apologise in advance) at the Downland trial, on the way back to the horse and the harrow (start/end, we had just finished observing) a friend, my bro and myself were hit from behind by a car, whilst waiting to turn right in trev's van. The young women hit us at about 30 mph, pushing us about 40 feet forwards down the road, her car was a right off, trev's vw caddy had very little damage, bumper, light and one of the doors was dented (stood reason for buying one). Trev and Paul had minor whiplash, but I had slightly worst whiplash, as I was sat in the front passenger seat, heard the skidding sound, lent forwards to look behind in n…

Bit off topic but... Good to see the Russians managed to slip in an off road bike to carry the Olympic torch between space stations and seabeds. This blurry screen capture is from the Winter Olympics Opening Ceremony. Bit worrying that the background looks a bit like Chernobyl, but I suppose there aren't many noise or pollution issues there.

Why do countless people moan about pre65 events and how they are no fun ect….. (I for one enjoy modern pre65 events MX & Trials) Maybe the only people not having fun are the bigoted few? It’s easy to criticise other peoples efforts and bikes, so why don’t all the whingers start a pure pre65 club or host event! Actions speak louder than words

Hi guys First pic is me and my guiding crew with the 2nd rhino darted this morning in the attempt of protecting him against poachers. We planted a chip in both horns and his neck and obtained tissue, nail and hair samples as well as notched his ears for identification. Poaching of these animals WILL lead to their extinction without OUR help!

Not sure but I think the mother-in-law needs a rebuild, we had her round for Christmas and there was a lot of rattling coming from the top end! Anyone else had this problem?

Any of you American guys into flat track racing ? Seen a cracking DT1 from the Dan Rouit flat track museum in the States and i'm going to replicate it . Go to google and type in flat tracker 2 strokes , look for his name and check out the 27th image . Oh , could really annoy the local plod with that. Tax exempt , BSI kite mark on exhaust not necessary. A big middle finger to the rules on that bike . What do you think lad's (and lasses) ? Shy T
