Oh dear, thought it might be quite good, but Chris Evans !!! I thought it was going to be the all new TG. All they did was carry on with the old format with nothing new, or better than before, in fact some of it was cringeworthy. I think clarkson and co will not be too worried.

As usual, when I'm stuck out in the North sea on nightshift I come up with some mad ideas so here goes.... Just to put you in the picture, a short story; About 3 years ago my mate said he'd like to buy my old Gasser, so at an offer of mates rates I invited him over to pick it up. He arrives shortly after, opens the back of the van and out jumps a couple of 2 month old cocker spaniels. "Just took them for a run" says he as Mrs Wife walks round the corner and goes "aaawww - puppies" Long story short - I get half of what I wanted for the bike and Mrs Wife gets a pedigree spangle - deal done! Still to this day I call her 'half a gasgas' (the dog, not the wife)! Anyhoo…

In case you need further proof that the human race is doomed because of stupidity, here are some actual label instructions on consumer goods. On a Sears hairdryer: Do not use while sleeping. (darn, and that's the only time I have to work on my hair). On a bag of Fritos: You could be a winner! No purchase necessary. Details inside. (the shoplifter special?) On a bar of Dial soap: "Directions: Use like regular soap." (and that would be how???....) On some Swanson frozen dinners: "Serving suggestion: Defrost." (but, it's "just" a suggestion). On Tesco's Tiramisu dessert (printed on bottom): "Do not turn upside down." (well...duh, a bit late, huh)! On Marks & Spence…
