Good afternoon, I have a 2011 beta evo 250 2t. Had it for a couple of years now. Having s issue where when I rev it, it can take ages to come back down. I have tried messing with mixture screw and doesnt seem to make any difference if 2 out or 3/4 out. I have had the card apart and clean all indivicdual components with carb clean. Again no difference. I have tried to spray brake clean at intake system to see if it revs it doesnt change. Am I right in thinking this could be the crank seal? Or am i barking up the wrong tree? Also its does idle fine. TIA

Hi all. As someone just really starting to get their hands dirty on the mechanical side, I was wondering how many of you bother using a torque wrench to put stuff back together? Do you see it as important or is 'tight' enough. Failing that do you work to standard torque settings when working on any bike? If so, setting do you work to? Why? I dont have access to any type of manual, so if I need torque settings I'm stuck. Is that a problem? Cheers Mark

Trying to decide what fuel to run, here are my choices: Vp-110 leaded- easy to get. The fuel distributor across the street from my house keeps in stock, reasonable price. Any VP unleaded would cost me alot more and I'd have to buy more than I could use quickly. 93 octane(us pump) has alcohol, comes from a station that uses separate hoses for each grade,so I get 100% premium each time I buy 2 gallons,My Grand Cherokee runs great on this fuel, and it has very aggressive knock sensors, runs like crap due to oversize tires when octane isn't up to snuff.been running this fuel ok in my bikes as I only buy just enough to use in a couple of weeks, just don't like the Idea of alcohol …

Went to get my back tyre turned this morning and was told its directional and the fitter was adamant I'd get no grip if it was turned as it had a direction arrow on it. Anyone had this before?

Mods, hope this new post is okay. I compiled info from a previous thread here but added a pile of new stuff I got from other clubs internationally. Thanks to all for the great tips. Anyone got tips for getting more people into trials? I know it's big in the UK and Europe but elsewhere it seems to be the best kept secret of motorcycling. Of course none of this applies if a club wants to keep to a certain size, but is more for growing a club or at least maintaining club membership levels over time. I've been chatting with a few overseas clubs, checking some good threads and got the following ideas so far: INTRO TO TRIALS DAYS: Have a dedicated day to get interest…

I rode trials from being a young age starting on a TY80 and progressing through the youth ranks and on to bigger bikes. I'm considering getting my son into the sport but not sure what bike would be suitable? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Hi, Can anyone recommend any waterproof or thermal riding gloves please. My son's always worn Hebo ones but they don't keep out the cold or the rain. Cheers.

I saw Mick started a topic asking everyone's worst crash and for the likes of me, I don't know where to start. The comedian in me allows me to make fun of myself and not get upset when other people do so I thought I'd ask my fellow riders about the biggest "ringo" they've ever witnessed. To verify: Anytime someone crashes big or wads up their bike or car in So Cal it is defined as a 'ringo' Getting the idea of how I ride? So, all of you So Cal guys that read this and never respond, feel free to chip in a story. I'll just start with the last time I was able to ride my bike: I was out last weekend setting up sections for our upcoming National when I decided to ride t…

A week after a -40 degree Celsius cold snap on the prairies in Canada, the Moto Trials Group of Alberta (check us out on Facebook) hosted a great two day event. Horse riding arenas make great trials venues during a cold Canadian winter.
