I've just attempted to install new front brake pads for the first time on this bike (GasGas 270TXT) and I think the pistons are siezed. After removing the old pads, I can't push the pistons far enough back into the calipers to install the new pads, let alone get the caliper back onto the disk. Am I missing a trick here? On my previous bikes I could just push the pistons back into the calipers with a screwdriver, install the pads and off we go. The curious thing is, if I reinstall the old pads, the brake works fine. I'm befuddled.

I just bought one of these before I entered the Sandown trial outside belfast on 20th of March. It was a horrendous day, really windy and wet, but the jacket kept me dry and relatively draught free ( I say relatively cos it was windy enough to blow the visor clean off my helmet, I was bound to get a draught from somewhere. These jackets are made of a medium weight cordura so they are not too heavy, and look like they will take a lot of punishment. They have a mesh lining for comfort and two poppered pockets ( not very secure though...) and I found it had more than enough freedom of movement for riding the sections. I would even ride an enduro in this cos it's cut quite …

In schools, in ICT and business studies, Im bored. I need entertainment, after looking at the same bicycle trials videos Ive seen millions of times, the bordom kicks in more so. I cannot visit this forum as the word 'forum' has been banned, aswell as many, many other good sites. The question... Does anyone know any trials websites that has videos, motorcycle specifically???? Many Thanks, Mr. Tolley

Has Anyone got any experience with trying to re-register an older tirials bike?.I'm trying to sort out this problem with my 85 Fantic that has been registered in the past but the documents have gone missing. The DVLA stance on the job is to get the bike MOT'ed on the frame no.,get insurance cover then approach the local office fill in the necessary paperwork, pay for the tax disc, and they then issue a Q plate. The problem I'm having is trying to get insurance cover; A because the bike does'nt yet have a registeration mark B because when it does it'll be a Q C because "We don't insure Trials bikes" All this hassle even though the MOT itself was almost a formality!. …

Hi. My Seeley 200 Honda at the last trial on Sunday was running roughly when I revved it hard to climb a hill. It was so bad I fived the section 3 times !! On todotrial here shows Raga's hometown celebrating his indoor title. I think Silsden must just expect several world titles. Shows the difference in how the sport is perceived in Spain to here.

I have lots of smaller logs (8-10") around my property and I was wondering if anyone came across a good way of fastening smaller logs together to make a bigger obstacle? I have debated about using rope, fiberglass ties (like on big shipping boxes), and rebar to hold them together. Once the snow clears, I want to build up my riding area with bigger obstacles.

Hi, does anybody else have problems accessing this site? All I get is a bloody annoying message that I don't (I do actually!) have the latest version of flash installed etc and can't use the site. Even if I do the suggested thing and go and download the latest version it still doesn't accept that I have the bloody thing installed. I'm using NT4 with IE 6.028 if that has any relevance. We won't even talk about loading it on my linux platform, using Konquerer... God, I hate "flash" websites..... Kevin.

Rather than the usual which boots I thought I would ask which goggles? I ride a few national trials a year on the road and also the odd long distance trial and have been using a cheap pair of goggles & the elastic is crap just wondered if any one had found and make, style better than any others. Also any advantage from having a face mask built in.

Donning my flamesuit! I was watching Transworld sport yesterday and it seems that global warming is likely to close some ski resorts situated at lower altitudes, indeed two resorts in Scotland are up for sale. So will we benefit from these closures? Ski resorts usually make for really good terrain and there's not much else you can do with them except declare them nature reserves.

Just recently i have been experiencing problems with the engine cutting out. I have tried adjusting the idling speed, but this is very hit and miss. The problem only gets better after 2/3 hours of riding. Could there be a blockage anywhere? Any ideas would be fantastic!
