Re-posted for future use; thank you Billy and RonM! Mikuni Carb Setup By Billy T After receiving my 02 Beta Rev 3 I am very pleased with the bike. I am getting quite a few recommendations on how to set the bike up and what areas to change or set. One particular area is the carb. I have heard many statements regarding the float level and how to set it up. This setting of the

I see some posts on what lads have done for sections in their back yard. These are pictures of sections I have built over the past 12 years, in my back yard. This creek is all concrete mixed a bag at a time and stones set in, the water is from the land drains but only runs when it's wet.

The replys about "which boot is the best" all have positive answeres, so I want to change the question to: What problems or dislikes have you had with your boots and what improvements would you like??? Things like not being comfortable when new or walking around, buckles breaking, adjusters not holding, soles wearing out quickly, not flexible enough............you get the idea. Thanks guys and gals Brewster

I ride road bikes with a buddy at work. His only dirt bike experience was with a YZ125...two weeks on crutches afterward, so I worked long and hard to get him out on a Trials bike. I showed him all the videos and stuff, and he thought they were neat, but they jast reaffirmed that there was no way he would ever try that stuff. It's taken a year, and 3000 miles on the road bikes, but I finally got him out last week, on my two GasGases, a 280 and a 321. Guy was real pensive at first, so I did a little pit training, then we just sort of played follow the leader and I took him on a gentle trail ride through the rocks. He couldn't believe how stable the things were, and …

My club's running a "conducted" trial for novices early next year - what's a conducted trial? Like a training day I'd guess...? Sorry for the daft question.

Hi, Can anyone recommend any waterproof or thermal riding gloves please. My son's always worn Hebo ones but they don't keep out the cold or the rain. Cheers.

I know this topic has been beat to death.I just got a new pair of Novogars, comfortable from the first ride. The Alpinestars I just tossed were not comfy until they were worn out beyond repair. The straps on the novos are long enough to fit around my fat calfs unlike the alpines which needed longer straps.I am pleased so far with the Novogars.Any out there with long term thoughts on the Novos?

Hi, I've got a Fantic Pro 300 that gradually lost spark, until it would no longer run. The problem appears to be the flywheel, as the magnets have virtually no 'pull' at all. I give up on finding another flywheel, and now wonder if I can 'fix' the magnets. Anyone have any idea if this is possible, and if so, how I could go about it? Any and all advice appreciated!

Should Shaun Morris elect to ride in the W/C next year (I think he's obliged to) any predictions where he might end the season considering Tadeusz Unpronouncable rode the last round and finished 13th-ish?
