Hey Guys, When you say you're from New York everyone automatically thinks NYC. Assure you my home is not in a city of any type. Since most of the state is rolling farm land, mountains and lakes I'm lucky to land right in the best part. Pretty new to trials but not to bikes and motorsports in general. I've raced motocross back in the day and did lots of cow trailing in my youth. I also tipped cones over in autocross, rallycross and even sat in the meat seat of rally cars. In my 40s raced BMX and actually got 2nd in the state (by showing up to events) -was in great shape then. An old riding buddy donated the current toy: an early 90s Beta and absolutely having a blast. …

Hi all been riding bikes since I was about 11 now 27 now, had sportsbikes since the age of 18 so not done anything offroad for a very long time. I have always loved watching trials vids and it just looks like so much fun seriously considering getting one in the next year I think to be honest I have kind of lost the love of road riding a little. I went up to the motorcycle live show at the start of December and got my lad (4 years old) a little Kuberg start electric trials/motocross bike for Christmas after he had a go at the show and was incredible on it, so it would be great to be able to ride with him. In my teens I was into bmx and I seem to have a freakishly good sens…

Hi all, I live in sunny SW France and at the age of 57 have just bought my first trials bike which is a 1997 Beta 270 Techno....Well at least I think it is!! I bought it from a mate without any documentation or manual.....I was wondering whether anybody knows where I can get a manual? I have found a parts diagram on the Beta USA site but no manual as yet....The model is a Techno according to the USA site. Also if anyone knows any websites for spare parts, that would be appreciated. There seem to be lots of parts for later models but I cannot find much for older models. Anyway I'm an experienced road rider but a newbie when it comes to trials riding. On my first …

Hi, I’ve just joined the forum as I’m completely obsessed with the Panther Stroud and I’ve been lucky to pickup a genuine Stroud motor for my trials project! Now I’m looking for a Stroud petrol tank ( rocking horse s**t!!) my particular obsession is with the alleged Springer Stroud that was built and sent to Sweden in around 1953!!

Hello Everyone, I am getting a bug for a Trials bike. I have ridden off-road bikes all my (40 years) life and would like to try something new. I have a line on a 2000 Gas Gas TXT 321 and would like to know if this is a good start. I weigh 185 pounds, 6'2" and am an A/B level off-road rider. Any opinions would be appreciated. I know this is a good bike - the 321 part I am not sure about. What do you think? Thanks.

Hi all, new to this forum but an old soul to motorcycling (considering my age). I bought a Mod. 116 in about 50 pieces I years ago and did an amateur restore a few years after that. I rode it a few times and then bent the kickstarter shaft on a monster backfire, so the cases had to be split again. I'm back at it and have a bare frame and a beaut of an engine being assembled. Excited to have another go at this and really knock this out of the park especially since I FINALLY found a reasonable and in good shape spark arrestor on an auction site for 45 dollars. I'll post some pics later but wanted to say hi. Gonna need to up my monthly parts budget esp of I want those …

Hi all, my name is Duncan, and I’m a trialaholic. ! just getting back into the sport after a 40 year gap ? bought myself a 2018 vertigo January just gone. Joined a few clubs (Guisborough, Scarborough and Darlington) and been out practicing just about every weekend I can. although the bikes are completely different to the old twinshock I used to ride back in the day, I’m having so much fun, it seems to have taken over my life. It’s so addictive ! even bike maintenance I enjoy (just as much as the riding) anyway, I’ve just got my ACU licence through the post, so after 5 months of practicing, I’m going to enter a few local trials and see how I get o…

Hi folks, My name is Kev and I live in Northumberland. I've got a trail bike at the minute but I never use it and then this weekend just gone I went to my first trial (Bedlington & Distric MC) to practice my photography and I'm dying to have a go now. Before I take the plunge and sell the KTM though I want to find somewhere to get some instruction, hire a bike, do some training you know the kind of thing. So if anyone knows of any trials schools then let me know and I'd be really grateful. See you around Kev PS what's the score with siggies and links to photo galleries are they allowed or not?
