Hello all, I am becoming re-interested in trials after a long hiatus. My grandson is turning three and is interested in motorcycles and my daughter has fond memories, so is open to the idea of an Oset 12.5. I figured I might pick up a used whatever to plonk on and help him learn (in the day, I was never great, but did ride advanced respectably). Anyways, thanks for still being here as a resource! Ward

Well this has to be the best trials site out there and has everything you need on it so why not return, used to come on here few years ago as Lewis-gasgas think it was. Just bought another bike Gas gas 2012 250 racing. Just a few teething issues i want to get spot on. Anyway Hi guys cheers for any future advice and top work with the site as always Andy. Lewis.

Hi all, after 3 or 4 years out of the sport I am returning to trials! Just bought myself an 07 Gas Gas 300 Raga Rep - hoping it doesnt kill me as the last bike I rode was an 06 125! I'm 19 years old now and hoping to get back into the swing of things asap! Hopefully see some of you at the Waltham Chase/Waterside events!

Not a newbieee but havnt been on here in at least a year and half, from when i got rid of my 07 gas gas , after another gas gas now probably about an 09 and want to get back into it Must of taken me about ten goes to try and remember the combination of username and password. Hello from Middlesbrough UK, I used to ride trials as a kid, uo until the age of around 17. When I sold my bike to buy a car. after 12 years of onky riding the odd time, and after a pretty stressful house renovation, I’ve finally got my self a bike again. It’s a 2005 gasgas txt 280 pro, looking forward to getting back out on it and getting back into the sport. regards marc

Hi all, Now I have reached my late forties, I have decided to give trials another go. I used to ride a TY250 mono but gave it up in the nineties. I bought a really cheap 16 year old Montesa Cota 311 on Saturday. After stripping the carb and putting in fresh fuel, it started straight up. A few bolts needed replacing (or adding as they were missing!) and I was ready to go. A quick blast around the garden to make sure everything was running ok. Hi I'm thinking of picking up a trial bike again, my last one was a Fantic 301 so not ridden for a long time... so basically new to the sport is the best way to describe myself Is there anyone in south Cheshire who can let me know of any local meets or clubs I can join? hi everone, have decided to get back into trials after 15 year break, i used to ride with the kent youth and then erith and district before joining the army sort off forced the sale off my 94 ty 250, moved into the sports bike scene whilst serving and loved every minute as was based in germany, not so fun coming back to uk speed cameras, jobsworth coppers, third world roads ect ect... I started riding on a Yamaha TY80 when I was about 4 and rode until I was 14 and had to stop due to my parents taking on a bigger house and not being able to keep taking me to trials and funding my bikes. So I have spent the last 28 years with either no bikes at all or road bikes. I am now in my early forties, became a dad to a little boy last year and am looking to getting back into the great sport of trials as I would like my son to ride as soon as I can get him on a bike. Hi All, I've just picked up a bike after about ten years out of the game. I used to practice at Back Cowm and Cliviger (and other places it seems sadly are no longer an option). There used to be a big group of us when I was a kid challenging each other and they all slowly disappeared one by one. I can practice mid week and weekends depending on work be good to meet some new folks if anyone fancies a practice session. Got myself an Evo 300 - awesome bit of kit. Cheers. Lee

I rode trials in the 1950s on a rigid 350 BSA B32 The bike was in road trim as most of us rode to the trial in those days !! I introduced my son to the sport about 30 years ago. We went thru various bikes Bultaco Fantic Montesa etc. Time went by and the trialing faded for various reasons My son has taken the sport up again and introduced my grandson to the sport with an Oset. I find I can still ride without falling off so now have my all time favourite machine a Montesa twinshock a Cota 200 Its an ex farm bike and because of its condition doubt its ever been trialed Changed the oil fuelled it up and away it went !! can anybody help . i have a rev4t 08 . thats bad to start, fouling plug up , and struggles to rev clean. i have .......... re jetted carb,re set valves, had stator re wound, thouroughly cleaned out all carb and choke jets,new plugs, clean air filter, altered air screw , breather pipes clean

Hi all My names Richard just getting back into trials after years of road bikes. Ive ridden trials since school and had trials bikes on and off since then but been out of it for seven years. Ive just bought a Gas Gas and im looking forward to having a crack at some local trials around stirling area. If any one can recommend a good practice spot it would be appreciated as my old stomping ground Fankerton glen has apparently become a nature reserve so I can imagine its out of bounds these days. Is it just me or was the public a lot more mellow in 1993. Cheers Richard

Hi all. I really want to get involved in trials. I come from several years of racing cross country ATV's and arenacross. Got burned out, Switched to woods riding a KTM 300exc, and loved that, but got out due to the purchase of a new home. Recently got into dual sport riding on my Honda XR650l. I recently shed some weight that needed gone, and am trying to get back into shape. Technical riding always kept weight off before, and I think trials is my answer. My questions begin with I am 6'2" and dropped from 292lb to 250lb, and plan to lose more. Will my current size/ weight cause me any issues with a trials bike? Is there certain ones that are better for bigger guys like m…

I'm returning to trials after 25 years and am back on my trusty (not really, now a bad running nightmare) TY175. I found a few other enthusiasts and now someone selling new trials bikes.... 5 of us will try having the first competition in 20 years (as the sport died out...) at a four wheel drive event in an old quarry. Otherwise too spoilt for choice for amazing bits to ride in. Big thanks to Ian Allaway of JAMsport in Surrey who lent me a demo bike for the morning to put the grin back on my face when I was recently in UK!

Hi from South Africa. I'm new to trials and have just aquired a 2007 Beta 270, and yes you guessed it, it has carb issues. It doesn't idle smoothly at all. I've done some reading up about installing a Dellorto, so please will you advise me where to go, who to speak to. I look forward to the help and advise. Cheers.
