Hi, my next door neighbour has recently bought a gas gas 125 and i have been to a couple of local trials with her. I have had road bikes all my life but I thought i would have a bit of offroad fun. so to see if i would be competent enough I have just bought a cheapie montesa cota 314r? I think. The guy I bought it off fired it up after two prods, but since I got it home, so far it refuses to start or me!! Oh well head scratching time!

Hi All, I'm returning to trials after nearly 30 years off. I've been riding an Electric Motion Race 2020 model for almost a year now and loving getting back into things, though it's amazing how much has changed. I'm based in North Yorkshire and have joined both Guisborough and Croft trials clubs, really impressed with both. If you see me out and about, stop by and say hello Ade.

Hi, new to the group. I have joined as this looks like the place for everything trials related! I used to trial myself around the mid-90s as a young teenager. Now my sons have shown an interest so I have supported them into trials. They've been on Osets the past year as an introduction to the sport and my oldest (13) just upgraded to a Gasgas 125.

Hello, I'm new to trials, starting out with a 2016 Beta Evo 250. Did the clutch mod and ordered some boots, and other than that just spending a lot of time riding in the field getting used to the bike.

Hi everyone - just wanted to introduce myself and share with you my latest toy - yes, after months of Ebay scouring, I have finally bought myself a TLR200! Of all the Honda trials bikes, I always liked the proportions of the TLR best... and having looked at various TLs, RTLs, RSs and all manner of hybrids (some very nicely done, I have to say), I decided to concentrate on finding a decent (road registered) TLR, and have been waiting patiently for the 'right one' to come along... From what I can gather from the documents, it was originally an import (presumably from Japan) in 1986 - so one of the last ones? It is registered, but currently has no MOT or tax, so that is …

Hi, I'm Jason from Indiana, just becoming interested in trials motorcycles and the mad skills this kind of riding can develop. I'm looking to pick up a good used older trials bike when funds become more available and set up a course at my house when its to muddy to ride my enduro loop or when the enduro loop gets old. I used to ride with a guy that had a gas gas dealership and will lean that way on a purchase but right now I am clueless to brands, performance, and parts availability. I'm pretty sure my skill level initially doesn't warrrant the cost of the newest technology. Anyways, good riding to all, Jason Oh yeah here's some youtube of my enduro loop

Hello All, I am new to trials but not new to bikes, I have owned and ridden an 1986 Honda XL250R since 2001 and in the last 3 years have owned a couple CBR600 F2s and a CBR600 F4i. I have just sold my nicest sport bike ('02 red/black CBR 600 F4i) so that I can get into trials. But I still ride a 1991 CBR F2 daily. I recently got a couple of project bikes, an '85 XR250R and a dirt only '86 XL250R to thrash on the trails. Looks like there are a few other Canadians on this forum but haven't seen many from BC... you wet coasters out there? I bought a 2004 Sherco 290. If anyone has any Sherco expertise or just trials newbie advice that would be great! (I am also new to 2s…

Someone to laugh at me when I fall off etc. I have no aspirsations to become a champion I am just out to enjoy trials riding and the countryside, its just something I have always wanted to do. I'm not sexists or ageist so happy to ride with young or old male or female and any skill level. I have a workshop and trailer and I am always happy to drive. I am going to watch the Classic in Col…

Hi there, I am new to the forum (but not trials), based in the midlands (Tamworth), and was looking for recommendations as to where best to buy Trials boots - I see many on the internet (such as Appleyards) but need to find somewhere to go and try a few on. I don't know any local trials (bikes or clothing) dealers - any suggestions in the midlands area please ? Cheers
