Hello again. Well I cleaned me carb and jets with carb cleaner, blasted the holes with air and its still misbehavin. I guess I need to do it again and soak the diddy bitz for a while. I probably got me setting a wee bit out as I've got smoke coming out of me exhaust now and still blowing out fuel onto the back of me number plate. Can anyone off the cuff tell me how many turns out are correct on the jet etc. Mines a 125, still, and I dont think anyone out theres rides this dinky model. Cheers. Squid.

Hello AndyT. I shot out and bought a can of carb cleaner after getting your reply, just before the shops closed. I've cleaned the carb once before with only petrol+ I was too mincy to take the jets out that time as well. I've just finnished doing it' properly I hope ' Going out now. Cheers Squid

Hello to all. I 'll try and explain whats going on the best I can. I tried to get out to one of the spots that I like to play in. From my house to this particular place I have to use diddy little lanes and dirt tracks,lovely. Get to the junction just before me playground, bike stalls. Start bike 'its engine pitch has gone higher' pull away, 2 lurches, engine dies. Try this a few times all the same. So I sit in the grass and have a bit to eat and try again. Same thing ,but this time if I paddle along the engine picks up and Iam off. Iam gettin moisture coming out of the end of me exhaust also. Cheers Squid.

Good evening out there. Just a curio. I know its not good to overtighten things, but I was wondering how many of you guys out there stick to useing one of those there Torque wrench things. I hav'nt got one and I used a friends one recently under guidance but it really hurt my head converting the thing. Cheers Squid

Iam going to apologise for this mail before I even start, but I've got ask. Todays the first time I've got to put some air in me tires. I did see when I bought the bike it had 2 valves per wheel but didn't think anything about it until now. Whats that about then and which one do i put the air in. I do feel ashamed asking but I've looked in me manual and on the net and cant find any aswers. Cheers Squid.

Hello B40RT Yes I want to make just a stong boxsorta thing with the right height as I've got to try and sort me spokes+ change the fork oil for this weekend. Simple and strong, just for now. I'll buy a one of metal ones later. Cheers Squid.

Hello I found one of those stools you used to find at community centre's and schools, metal tube legs and a wooden top. I thought chop the legs down a wee bit and it would make a good diddy bench as they seem robust. But before I get at it I thought I'd ask you guys if you'd have a universal height guide,standard measure. Cheers Squid.

In total desperation I wheeled me bike round to the local garage. The guy had a spanner with more faces than the one I had and gripped me sump plug. Sorry for me mincing mails but I've now changed the oil. It was brown muck that came out. Whats that a sign of. Hope its not naughty as I planning on taking her out tomorrow to get muddy in the hills. Please I didn't mean to waste your time, you've given me more knowledge and Iam learning. Cheers Squid.

Thanks Andy T, Rich TY250E and Tony for your help. The flat nut on the insides not spinning and the bolts not moving in or out when Iam spannering. Not one of the 4 is behaving properly, Iam almost in tears. I didn't think I'd have to ask for help on removing a belly, bash plate thing. What a to do. Cheers Squid.

I guess I just cant top up with fresh oil as I dont know what the guy used to put in there before I bought it,or can I? Hello Andy T I thought about that but couldn't get a spanner between the gap to hold the nut. I thought, surely I dont have to take the engine out to get the belly plate off. Squid.
